Ski resorts and leisure activities

There are two sides to the travel industry in Isère. There are numerous winter sports facilities - 34 ski resorts, 2 500 kilometers of downhill runs and over 1700 kilometres of X-country trails.

 In spring, the return of the warm weather opens the way to 5000 kilometres of walking paths, over 100 lakes and reservoirs, 2100 kilometres of river, 14 golf courses, a national park (Ecrins), two regional parks (Vercors ,Chartreuse), 2 spas and summer skiing on the glacier.
