AEPI: certified ISO 9001

In November 2001 Bureau Veritas Certification awarded AEPI ISO 9001 (version 2000) certification.

Certification covers all AEPI missions: Studies related to the economy of the Isère department, provision of economic data and documentation, promotion of the department, prospecting companies outside the area and helping them move to Grenoble-Isère.

AEPI started the certification process because of the Agency's ongoing concern with increasing the quality of its services, to win the trust of all its partners – elected representatives, local firms and companies considering relocation in the area – and to define a real corporate project.

Certification gives AEPI a competitive advantage over other competitors in Europe and enhances the credibility of its action in the eyes of its various partners.

Quality certification perfectly illustrates AEPI's determination to progress, constantly improving its response to customer demands. It is also emblematic of the Agency's ongoing adaptation to a changing environment, thanks to comprehensive reappraisal of its skills, working procedures and know-how.

The indicators now available to AEPI regarding its partners, in addition to the introduction of systematic surveys of customer satisfaction, will enable the Agency to continue its improvement.
